For the next month you can find us from 10:00 to 18:00 every day in the gallery, where the abstract works of Philip Tsiaras and Dimitris Dallas are presented. Selected work of the series "Acqua Antica" by the internationally renowned artist Philip Tsiaras talks wonderfully with the works of the upcoming artist Dimitris Dallas, whose solo exhibition will take place at The Blender Gallery soon.

Philip Tsiaras is an international Greek artist who lives and works in New York City. Since 1974 he showed more than 75 one-person exhibitions. Tsiaras works in a great range of media--painting, photography, glass, ceramic, and bronze. He has exhibited in the Venice Biennale three times and produced a ten-foot bronze sculpture on the Grand Canal entitled "Social Climber”. Tsiaras' works are widely collected in corporate, private and important museum collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Recently he has been honored by the Greek Ministry of the Exterior for "Excellence in the Arts".

Dimitris Dallas was born in Athens in 1982. He studied graphic design and Computer Graphics DTP & Web Design in AKTO, Greece. Inspired by everyday life, the people he meets, incidents and situations he observes, he creates an explosive parallel universe where the “ordinary life” is stretched to its limits. Dallas works with spray, acrylic, markers and spatulas. His characters and symbols are products of the artist’s spontaneous process and improvisation. The repeating patterns encode his explosive feelings, while the fluidity and the sense of movement exuded in his work, express the energy that surrounds and configures the artistic creation, as well as the artist’s psyche.
