Pensive and melancholic, playful and dreamy, confused and fragile, seductive and confident; the female aura just before she completes her rite of passage is portrayed in different ways by 5 artists. The media the five artists use range from painting, drawing and collage to photography and screenprinting. In their compositions, the time when and the reasons why the transition occurs vary. But the message is the same: A girl will be a woman soon.
