The platform of The Show Must Go On (showmustgoon.online), is the result of the continuous cooperation and work between the team of Tetartimorion and The Blender Gallery, aiming to find and explore possible solutions for a better cultural presentation, in view of the growing need for alternative ways of communication and meeting points. More specifically we present digital art exhibitions in real time and space, therefore offering to the public the opportunity to navigate from afar in events - art exhibitions, even under the most difficult conditions.
Since January 2020 we were planing a project in the Blender Gallery in Glyfada (27-28 of March 2020). The title of the project is Show Must Go On and through a collection of posters, video art, sociologists' placements and infectious disease specialists' advisement, plus a dj set consists a two days' event that would try to inform students, parents, and wide public about safe sex practices in a different and innovative way.Suddenly, in the week we were going to start communicating the event the pandemic struck, the pandemic of coronavirus (Covid-19). It wasn't funny at all.The global community sprung forward to prevent the worst, so did the greek government, the press tried to inform while doctors and nurses hasted to save and protect the people and the public.Wherever there are difficulties we find solutions. Which are always more abundant than the difficulties themselves.
