Rick Carter is now on Artsy and SuperRare

The Blender Gallery is proud to present “Filmscapes” by two time Academy Award winner, art director and product designer Rick Carter, following the physical exhibition “Cinema and Canvas” that took place in Athens in December 2022 (watch the video of the show here). Rick Carter’s cinematic art includes artwork created during the development and filming of some of his most famous films - like Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Star Wars etc. The Artsy viewing room is available to explore till the 25th of May, here.

For the last 45 years, Rick Carter has been creating worlds from scratch, on the side of acclaimed film directors,  drawing inspiration from his own travels and experience. Through The Blender Gallery's recently inaugurated partnership with SuperRare, one of the biggest online markets for digital art, a set of three NFTs by Rick Carter will be launched exclusively on the platform on Monday the 27th March. The first NFTs launch follows a private art experience that took place at El Segundo Museum of Art in Los Angeles on Saturday the 18th of March, with works by Rick Carter and the artist himself attending. The event was organised by Legacy West Media and powered by the DeLorean Motor Company - the iconic Back to The Future vehicle not missing from the show! The first set of NFTs launched by SuperRare in collaboration with The Blender Gallery will therefore be of Back to the Future designs by Rick Carter. More sets of NFTs will follow so keep your eyes on SuperRare!
