Alexandros Maganiotis’ sophisticated way of merging environments and figures from different eras, navigating from a personal and existential focal point to an international and timeless perspective renders his artistic style unique.

In his art, history and current affairs are entangled with his own personhood. Maganiotis integrates in his work elements ranging from an old family photograph, to a piece of literature or ancient Greek myths like the Odyssey, or cut-outs from the latest newspapers.
